The kitchen is dazzling and yet comfortable and practical to use. The custom cabinets of mahogany and glass are laminated with rice paper and accented by black granite countertops and mirrored backspashes. Top of the line appliances include Subzero and Viking.

Concealed doors from the foyer lead to the guest wing which has two handsome and comfortable guest suites and bath. A spectacular powder room with panels of verre eglomise and a design of drapery pulled back to reveal mirrors cover the walls and cabinetry.

The master suite has hand-tufted carpet by Hokanson, drapery and walls upholstered in silk, and custom window seats in patterned velvet. The sleigh bed and bench are in Italian silk. The master bedroom is a tour de force, with backlit carved mirrors, heated marble floors, onyx vanity, and a polished steel bathtub imported from England. The carved designs from the mirrors are repeated in the glass enclosures of the shower and water closet.

The interior doors feature hand-carved mirrored panels, custom bullet hinges in polished nickel and handles with globes of Venetian glass. The audio system has speakers in the public rooms, the kitchen and the master suite. Window coverings are electrified throughout. The residence also has central heat and air conditioning. There is deeded parking for one car.

All the furnishings, including many custom pieces, are included in the sale. Exclusions are the artwork and the Murano lamps in master bedroom.
